I'm very new to BlogSpot!
My name is Bethany Huckle, I'm 19 and currently am based in Stevenage. I attended The Nobel Secondary School, gaining my GCSE Qualifications. Throughout Year 11 I was awarded a fully funded place at The Urdang Academy (Performing Arts School) completing a 3 Year Course:
Professional Diploma in Musical Theatre!
Throughout my 3rd Year at Urdang I auditioned for a number of up and coming West End & Touring Productions and successfully graduated early to join the cast of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers at Regents Park Open Air Theatre! This was a summer contract as we were performing outside. Even though we had to battle through the spontaneous weather of the UK this was my first Professional West End Debut. I couldn't have asked for a better first job due to the magical atmosphere of every performance, my amazing and supportive cast members and Creative Directors and the new experiences and skills I have gained this Summer! During the contracted it really intrigued me regarding how different directors work and the energy/mood they bring into the rehearsal room.
I have recently been offered a Pantomime Christmas Contract, for Cinderella, at Plymouth's Theatre Royal, and now have a couple months off to relax, take some dance classes, work in retail whilst auditioning for other Touring/West End Productions and Cruise Ships. Im currently with a Bespoke Recruitment Agency called TBC Management, who have offered me jobs such as raconteuring/hosting for Louis Vuitton's Series 3 Exhibition, Selfridges and Harrods.
