Inquiry Subheadings
Reflection & Analysis
Reflecting upon my Inquiry Proposal and
research during Module 2 , I have concluded that there will be a re-evaluation
regarding my subheadings within my Inquiry. Throughout Module 2 I have sectioned my research into four categories:
- Food Facts
- Mind over Matter
- My Industry
- Media and Technology
The subject Wellbeing has many other
topics that I wish to explore throughout Module 3, therefore I have decided to
change the sub heading of ‘Food Facts’
to ‘Work life Balance’. I believe
that this topic could be key to the progression of my Inquiry due to the
relevance to a practitioner’s wellbeing. I wish to not only apply this alteration to my interviews, but replace 'Food Facts' with 'Work Life Balance' within my overall inquiry research and findings.
With this change to my line of inquiry I
have re-drafted my questions for three of my interviews which will now reflect
on how individuals manage their work and home lives, incorporating
questions under my original sub headings (‘My
Industry’ and ‘Media and Technology’). These are the interview questions designed for these three interviewees:

Information regarding ‘Mind over Matter’ may also be
ethically inappropriate within these 3 interviews, as this subject may appear a
sensitive and overpowering to performer’s previous experiences. This topic may
be touched upon in a participant’s answer but not a route of questioning that I
will direct to three of the interviewees.
The fourth participant to be interviewed
is a qualified Pastoral Care Officer and Liaison at my previous Performing Arts
School. I have created separate interview questions for my fourth interviewee,
targeting ‘Work Life Balance’, ‘My Industry’ and ‘Mind over Matter’. I have
considered the ethical challenges within the area of ‘Mind over Matter’ however
this specific participant is experienced within this field thus sharing their
knowledge on this topic.
Below are the set of questions created for this specific interview. By viewing this you will see a vast difference regarding the style of questions I wish to ask in comparison to the other three interviewees.
